Making Waves: Malahide Businesses Network Over Beach Clean-Up

A huge thank you to everyone who took time out to join our recent Malahide Beach Clean-Up Day on Thursday, 24th July. It was a fantastic community effort with a great turnout of volunteers, including local residents and members of the business community, who all came together to make a visible difference in just a couple of hours.

Over the course of the morning, dozens of bags of rubbish were collected from the beach and surrounding areas, helping to keep Malahide’s beautiful coastline clean and welcoming for everyone. With support from Fingal County Council, all equipment was provided, allowing everyone to get stuck in with ease. The enthusiasm and commitment on display was truly inspiring.

But it wasn’t just about cleaning up, many participants said they enjoyed the opportunity to meet others from the local business network. It was great to see business owners, staff, and individuals from different sectors chatting and connecting while working toward a shared environmental goal. Conversations flowed just as easily as the work did!

We look forward to more events like this in the future, and we’d love to see even more local businesses getting involved. It’s a simple but meaningful way to make a difference, far more productive than your average networking coffee morning.

Let’s keep working together to keep Malahide clean and connected!
