A Wonderful Evening of History, Sunshine & Networking in Malahide

The Malahide Heritage Walk on Tuesday 14th July proved to be a fantastic success, bringing together local businesses and members of the public for an enjoyable evening exploring the rich history of our village.

Hosted by local historians Frank and Brian from Malahide Historical Tours, the walk was fully booked.

Everyone enjoyed the stories, landmarks and hidden history that make Malahide so special.

Blessed with glorious sunshine, the group spent an hour discovering fascinating tales from around the village, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions and learn something new about the place many of us call home.

Following the tour, many of the local business attendees continued the evening at Gibney’s Pub, where they enjoyed a complimentary burger while taking the opportunity to network in a relaxed and informal setting.

The event perfectly demonstrated how supporting local tourism and local businesses can go hand in hand, combining culture, community and conversation in one enjoyable evening.

A huge thank you goes to Frank and Brian from Malahide Historical Tours for another excellent guided walk, to Gibney’s Pub for their hospitality, and to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening such a success.
